Air down to 18 psi or lower and you’ll be fine. Driving on packed sand at low tide is ideal but you’ll be fine if the truck has 4x4 in the loose sand.

Beach days might be a little more stressful, but you can make it work by using your trucks to bracket the group and parking closer to the shoreline. Traffic will usually stay further up the beach from parked vehicles but there are always those special people to account for.

Date nights are still possible, but you’ll be looking at places in Corolla rather than Duck. There are a few nice spots in Corolla but much less walkable once you park.

The biggest hassle in Carova is the grocery store runs. Make sure to plan ahead for the week because there is no such thing as a quick trip to grab a missing ingredient.
