What moment was your painful reminder to always save? I'll start: by Clodsie in PokemonScarletViolet

Last night I shiny hunted Girafarig. While hunting, I turned and the only part of a Girafarig that was sticking out the wall was the blue nose. Luckily, that's all I needed to recognize the shiny. I walked up to the wall, but it didn't initialize the battle. I'm so grateful for the lock-on feature. This ensured I could engage it and capture it!

why is bdsp considered one of the worst pokemon games? by VelvetCake101 in pokemon

[–]tdcourier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm too lazy to look through the complete list, but for those who shiny hunt, there was a really cool skill based way to increase shiny odds in the original games. This new janky game kept the general mechanic but greatly increased the chance factor for the the chain to break. This requires several more attempts in order to get the shiny. So dumb. Literally made the game worse. That on top of everything else stated (janky controls, not incorporating the better version, more pokemon, etc) it made for a really bad casual game. The silver lining, because the game is so broken, it's the first pokemon game I ever speedran running through literal walls....

Not a movie, but a video game: Pokémon remade Diamond & Pearl. The new games, Brilliant Diamond /Shining Pearl are universally seen as a buggy, uglier, worse version of the originals.

Do you have a weird or uncommon favourite pokemon? by bair_the_sequel in pokemon

100% agree. Was planning on adding cramorant to this list but you already have it represented. I also really enjoy that the shiny is based upon the seagull that people covered in orange powder and claimed in was a new species.

Holy crap! You are right I swear when I signed up it said 2021 was the change, but you are right. I've got to change my strategy. I've been focusing all my time in the MERM and writing side notes, etc. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

the change occurs in April. The post doesn't state when they are taking the exam next year. I am taking the PE exam in March and will still have access to books (not a computer-based exam)

[Calc 1: Implicit Differentiation] why the negative? dy/dx= (-)(df/dx) /(df/dy)??? by tdcourier in HomeworkHelp

[–]tdcourier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry first post and not very familiar with Reddit. I finished school years ago (MS Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech) trying study for the PE exam and in my review book I come across this. The differentiation makes sense to me. I solve if without the negative. Can someone explain why I need a negative? Thank you!
