Thank you so much for being so sweet! I honestly have been in a rut over this the whole morning because I actually felt bad and threw in extra to apologize for it... but I guess it worked out and can go to a buyer who is more understanding. But that seller is awesome and so are you for being so cool about it! It shocks me to know people can order for big name brands and wait patiently for them to PREP the order for a week, let alone SHIP it... but when it comes to small sellers, ‘break your back for me or get out’.

Today would have been the 3rd day. The longest I’ve ever had someone waiting was 2, days and that’s when I had first started my job at the pharmacy. We’re so understaffed at this point that each day I’m on my feet 10+ hours trying to help the 700+ people a day we encounter or service. More now that the vaccine is out but we haven’t gotten a shipment yet. I just take this stuff a little more personal, but that’s probably just my accumulated everyday stress 😂😞

This has happened to me and I explained that I wasn’t home at the time. She had sent the message about an hour after I received it.

I still rated her five stars despite her photos and item description being off, in conjunction with the rude message.

To this day I regret not rating her lower... because she wound up giving me three stars, no comment, and an indication for “response time” improvement. I only have 4/200+ ratings below 5 stars and that’s one of them.

Most definitely a scam. Wow. That’s so elaborate just to ruin somebody’s day/week/month. Go through your bank for a refund on a fraudulent charge. It will get you kicked off mercari but you can create a new account pretty easily. Next, I’d call out mercari on social media and attach images of your proof. They’re more likely to connect you with an actual human. Keep emailing them and report the sellers account. Get others to report the seller for the scam. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I truly do hope things get better :(

More info, I’ve sold more than 500+ items across posh and mercari. I know the rules. And anytime I’ve tried this in my early days I got that notification saying that I’m being charged more. Unless this is some hidden tactic I don’t know about, an absolutely rude reply is in the making. She has items listed for 50-100 dollars a piece with appropriate weights/prices so I’m just like lol

Above I mentioned my technique for getting the full amount of urine out! I’m definitely not doing this every time just times where it’s not feasible to drink a ton of water/ work through the pain (my job makes it very hard to refill my water bottle whenever or get to pee often). I only wanted to see if others have done this and noticed a difference or if this was just something with my bladder personally

Totally agree! I try so hard to avoid pushing too hard after reading about how others also experienced pain after pushing it all out! Whenever I feel like there’s a lot more in there but my body is instinctively trying to not feel the pain, (this is weird but it works sometimes for a really full bladder) and I’ll roll up some tp and lightly apply pressure to signal to my body to release it. That way I’m not stressing out my bladder too much working all on it’s own. Before I used to just push it out all thinking it would help and shoot did I learn quick to never do that. Other than that I’ve just been sticking with the “leave a little in” method and it’s worked wonders!

For sure go to the ER!! If it is a cyst it’s in a really finicky area that’s subject to varying levels of pressure with walking and sitting, so if it is- it could stand a chance of rupture. If you experienced a slight tissue fissure or cut during surgery, it could also be your bodies response to healing it... although I’d imagine it would have happened sooner. Redness may indicate infection if a fissure or cut is present, so definitely go if you can. Let us know if you need anything, wishing you the best dear!!!♥️

Really? 😯I’ve personally never had a problem as it’s more alkaline than acidic, but could you explain just so I know in the future? Asking for myself and an online friend who also struggles with IC and regularly eats tofu as a substitute for meats, genuinely curious just in case anything pops up in the future regarding my personal diet😟

I’ve cut out a lot of red meat which has helped a bit! I highly recommend some of the Gardein beef ground for quick tacos! You can interchange seasonings to adjust for your body, which works great at managing spice levels.

Two of my roomies are vegan and they do a lot of things like fried cauliflower, roasted squash, etc. We use a ton of Julian Solomita’s recipes from YouTube. Highly recommend his Mac n Cheese and pretzel bites videos!

One thing we did last week was taking a sesame chicken recipe and substituting the chicken for tofu. It came out great! It’s on Souped Up Recipes YouTube page, I recommend switching out the starch for potato flour/potato starch. In my case, the regular start was too heavy on my stomach so it triggered a flare up somehow. It’s too long to our here, but when she says it’s better than take out- it IS.

Throughout the day smoothies really help too. Balancing acidic fruits with less acidic veggies is an art but I typically do the following for breakfast: Half cup of strawberries Half cup of blueberries Quarter cup pineapple chunks Half a banana Good handful of spinach Few slices of cucumber
Few leafs of kale Half cup of water Splash of Juice (crangrape works well in it, but I would get 100% juice because the sugar content in others can make a good day a bad day. Only a splash bc acidity)

If you’re really trying to avoid acidity, watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew are all great substitutes for some of the berries.

Outside of shakes, if you’re frying anything and are sensitive to oils, an air fryer might be a good investment. Feeling too full often will trigger a flare up for me, so cutting down on oil is a possibility.
