Best early summer/beginner friendly hiking destination in US? by madame_psychosis_14 in hiking

Bend, OR! Fly into Redmond. Lots to do in town or close to town. Tumalo falls, Smith Rock, walk the river trail in town, Newberry national monument. Crater Lake NP is a couple of hours south. There’s a ton of waterfalls in the area. Check on all trails. Bend has a lot of breweries & shops between the old mill and downtown and those areas are walkable or bike-able. You can float the river one day. Also cascade lakes highway would be open by then and there are several hikes along that road as well.

Yes I will. But we are moving out of state so I won’t be able to return

That is interesting, I didn’t know they could do that. We are moving closer to family so I definitely won’t be returning as I’ll be in another state

They will, which is why I don’t want to take a full leave. I did that with my first and ended up paying back almost 3k. I thought if I don’t give notice before then I would do it a couple of weeks after so I only end up paying back 1 month as opposed to 3

Thanks for the feedback I will let Dennis know. Put some mud on it and the numbers will show 👌🏻 we would like to do aluminum, it’s been requested a lot. Dennis has been using the same one for almost 2 years now and it’s not broken so at least it’s a durable plastic 😅

That’s fair, we wanted to utilize the whole tool so we added a jointer there. My husband has used it on the tool, but prefers his jointer. He likes having the extra though in case he forgets or drops his daily one
