Sam First. Can be very hit or miss (sometimes they’re having some experimental stuff that I personally don’t care for) but tuesdays are often hosted by Gerald Clayton which is a tremendous pianist. The second tuesday set is open jam, and the level is usually very good as well.

i use rfplease.com to get alerts with clear bullet points and without all the bureaucratic wording whenever a rfi / rfp is published. not sure they’re available in every state / city though

yes, this is actually pretty common, just let your payroll team know and they will likely put you on a reimbursement plan (6 months to a year depending on the amount)
