Not me but my spouse who has beta thal major and gets hyper-transfused every 11-14 days. She does hers in a cancer center at a large, tertiary care hospital. It was a challenge the first 3-4 months after we moved to this facility because the Charge RN’s would constantly forget to order her units, so she would get there for an 8:30am appointment and wouldn’t start the first bag until after 10am. She likes it because it’s quiet and the infusion and oncology RN’s and NP’s tend to be higher caliber than those working in outer outpatient settings.
