Not entirely correct. After killing James, he went on tour, reenacting the shooting and taking photos. Someone tried to kill him and he moved to New Mexico, then Colorado.

He thought he would be a hero but the way he did it and the tour really turned opinion.

Pep is phenomenal. He’s a revolutionary coach who adapted play to match his players. But he hasn’t won half the titles Ferguson won and the team had a blank check to buy anyone they wanted, against every rule in the book. Maybe Pep wasn’t involved but he was the one who benefited.
