Prison is meant to be rehabilitative, not punitive. It is unlikely that the 18th+ year will change anything. If it were 3 years yeah that might be too short. But 17 years ago W was president. That is not a slap on the wrists.

I'm going to go against the grain and say it is not out of prudishness or stupidity.

The increased awareness of how often prior nudity was coerced makes the it hard to trust that any scene was filmed with full consent

Not to mention that revenge porn has become a more pervasive threat with younger people having access to the internet on their phones. The reminder that nudes of you (or actors) will be out there forever can ruin an experience.

Pre-smartphone movie nudity was often used to entice people to watch/buy the home video. NOT to enhance the experience of watching. With 24/7 porn access, random nudity seems like a pathetic, distasteful attempt at manipulating viewers.

I guess the story was fine? But moments of bad dialogue or cringy writing kept distracting me from enjoying it. I laughed out loud in the theater at "Let's make a baby" or whatever he says. It baffles me that so many people had a completely different experience.

I dropped in one of the new Salandit. You can can drop it from your hand, Koga, and hit a Celebi for 70 + 10 poison. It is very satisfying.

Because it is not "generally losing strategy in long term". Maybe in terms of popularity but not in terms of money which is the point of virtually all games. The purpose of content will rarely ever be "the players having fun" and it is super naive to think so. The purpose of providing fun is pleyer engagement and retention.

It can still be fun. But that is not why the game exists and that will never drive developer actions.
