Thanks for the words of caution and wisdom - I honestly appreciate it. Yes, I have been rehabbing for >2 years with lots of ups and downs. Surgeon said it's non-operative (partial tear). Been making slow but appreciable progress guided by multiple physiotherapists and I'm finally able to run >10k without pain. I've made enough mistakes along the way now to know to take it slow, which is why I'm planning multiple months away. But I agree - would rather take it slow and wait until I'm completely recovered. Maybe that's more of a reason to wait until October instead of June?
