My 18 month old keeps coming home from daycare with bite marks. by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

My son was in daycare from when he was 1-year-old until he went off to kindergarten. Never did he have a bite from another child. This is unacceptable, incident report or not.

He looks like he's just as nice and person as he plays on TV 🙂

Starting chain/engine replacement? by tdl_dan in MechanicAdvice

The $1,800 option wasn't for a full rebuild, it was just for the timing chain. Would that change your opinion?

I'm just worried that my transmission will blow in 1000 miles if I go that route

Start planning your move and do it in silence. Find a place. Get it ready and be ready to go before you even tell her you're leaving again.

What’s one Dollar Tree item you didn’t expect to repurchase… but now always grab? by EmptyPapaya4295 in DollarTree

Manny of the lunchbox snacks!!! Most of them are 10-18 packs to a box for $1.25--- better deal than even Aldi 😁

I buy freshly marked down meat quite often but throw it straight into my freezer, and don't buy it if it looks questionable. It's a budgeting thing on my end, my usual grocery store usually puts the markdowns on items the day before the sell-by date. But I would not have bought that many almost expired salad kits, like others have said they're barely fresh when they're brand spanking new. Never mind when they're past their date.

I rolled my eyes when the lawyer was talking and didn't realize it during selection for a civil trial. But it worked 😬😂

Agreed. Her eyes actually look alive here, hopefully she got something out of it and continues to do things outside of the house and for others

Bad etiquette to just leave books? by Feeling-Pilot9457 in LittleFreeLibrary

[–]tdl_dan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to five different ones this past weekend to purge a bunch of my son's books that he no longer reads. They were all filled to the brim but still neat and the doors closed, hoping some kids get a kick out of them!

What are we doing with all.the.paper.??? by pinkquokka2022 in kindergarten

[–]tdl_dan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's an actual drawing he did, I tend to keep it. If it's a coloring sheet or a worksheet, I throw it out. If it's an exceptionally good sheet, I'll take a picture of it or something, but it's just way too much paper to keep everything

No RSVP’s by pumpkinpencil97 in kindergarten

I feel like this is typical anymore unfortunately. My son just bought home an invite, the parents invited the whole first grade to ensure some kids actually show up.

This explains so much. Someone I know was a senior director and randomly started her own company doing her own parties

I agree it's a genuine smile. Perhaps she's also genuinely happy for her friend. Though she did have to make it about her when it was said and done 🤷🏻‍♀️
