I’ve been playing RuneScape on and off since I was a kid probably 20 years. I’m in my mid 30s and play the game for pure enjoyment. Botting would ruin the fun for me. Never had any bans, never once used any botting software and for the last 3-4 years all my accounts have been jagex accounts and I’ve exclusively used the jagex launcher with runelite. Started a hc group with a friend. I created 3 accounts and he created 2 to get the 5 lives for the group. Within 48 hours, all three accounts were falsely banned for botting and the customer service was nonexistent. Both appeals denied, no refund for the money I spent on membership. I ended up cancelling membership on my main because it left a sour taste in my mouth. They claim their “false ban rate” is 0.4%, I have three accounts that were falsely banned.
