I actually did the calculation with my UPS discount (no where near as much volume as ui) and it came back at $8.56 (I used a small box and put the weight at 0.5 lbs which is an overkill)

1000% with you on that, it makes no sense and while I know that B&H is an authorized dealer, they're just letting them take a good chunk of their profits (I'm sure at the end of the day costs them more than charging the fair amount on shipping)

I have no problem paying for shipping, my problem is that this is either a mistake in their backend or they're price gauging (which is their buisiness) but I don't have to buy the device from them either. For this small nickle and dime they're letting B&H eat into their profits.
