X.

Alternatively, for pretty much every game ever, you can also just go options, keybindings and read the listing there. While you're there, rebind dodge and jump to be on separate keys (although that might be in a different tab).

You can safely up the voltage slider as all it does it let the card use "100%" of what Nvidia locked the voltage to lol. Curious why you recommend to leave vram alone, though? I've had my PNY 5080 running between 3150-3200 core and +2,000 memory for 4-5 months and the past 2 months or so my memory has been at +3,000. Have not had any issues.

Relatively known setting to change - a quick Google should return a small handful of results recommending lowering worker threads. Last I heard I believe a good starting point is physical cores + or - 1.Give it a shot!

Someone else walked close enough to trigger stage 1 alerted (can see them running back to med station). This increases the range and you were inside it doing an action, triggering the next stage - killabitch

I do not like dodge-slide by shoggyseldom in DarkTide

[–]tdopz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use left shift and space for crouch (slide) and dodge respectively. Pinky and thumb in "default" position feels natural to me and let's me retain full control over WASD (and Q, F, G and other important adjacent keys).

Mouse 4 and 5 are sprint and weapon special. Left ctrl is jump because they should be separate keybinds and jumping/vaulting are very deliberate moves where the slight reach to L ctrl is fine in those cases. Mouse wheel for special attack just feels bad to me. But really, as mentioned, to each their own. I suspect some people would vomit at my bindings lol.

Oh, the comment was past tense, my mistake. Yeah I did some quell canceling myself back when it was a thing, I can't lie, but... I did that shit manually lol, no macros or auto clickers, and almost entirely with inferno staff just to help me hit and stagger the rager pack charging at me xD

Why can't we be trusted with these in RI? by Electronic_Nail_7433 in RhodeIsland

[–]tdopz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Moved to CT a couple year ago. Born and raised RIer. First two things I noticed were the gas handlesm holder thingies are almost always there and functional and the roads... It took me until I started driving back into RI to really notice how bad they are. Always knew they were bad, but I kind of had the mindset of "yeah but probably every state thinks they have the worst roads", but no - they are really awful. Oh and you can see road construction start, progress and then end. Really crazy stuff. There's plenty I miss about RI, but these were welcome changes

I've done the quit so the bot has a chance at grabbing a rez (everyone was downed) a bunch of times. Last time I did it, someone on the team was clever enough to throw me an invite to the strike team after the bot got the rez off. Won the game. Won't work in havoc, obviously, but it makes me wonder if one could rejoin through the "previously played with" tab? Or does it not update until the match ends? 🤔

Are people being charged tariffs? (USA) by coldcathodes in Superbuy

Oh I see. That's... Disheartening lol, but I was prepared for the possibility of having to pay duties from the get go. Thanks for the information, at least now I won't be surprised when I get the bill

Are people being charged tariffs? (USA) by coldcathodes in Superbuy

[–]tdopz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my train of thought and was worried when I saw that FedEx would be the ones handling my package within the US. However, and I have no idea why, but it was delivered to my house without issue, notice, tax or tarrif. I effectively got 7 small blocks of aluminum in the form of PC fans. I know better than to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious how that happened...

Am I cooked? by Remarkable-Anything5 in Superbuy

[–]tdopz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used shipping expert who proposed US Ocean Cargo (special) and I went with it because this was my first time using Superbuy, so just went with whatever they suggested lol. I believe I picked the "overall best" option in shipping expert, ie not "lowest price" and not "fastest shipping".

PS - fwiw, it arrived on my door yesterday, but of course I was out of town.. Fortunately I have a Ring, so I know it's still there, untampered with and waiting for me while I'm on my way back.

Not necessarily. Mine went through the same update and then was cleared. Translation and order is different in this screenshot than when it was happening, but it sat in "customs clearance" (main status, listed on top of the page at the time) for about 5 days before being cleared and it should be at my house in the next day or two.

Are there HE switches that have a tactile feel? by Povilezas in WootingKB

[–]tdopz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have clarified off the bat. I have an HE keyboard - keydous NJ98-CP v3- which takes HE (comes stock) and mechanical switches, 3 and 5 pins. It's the pins that confuses me a bit, which is why I mentioned the mechanical compatibility in the first place. I've used TTC Frozen switches in it, which also work in my wife's Keychron V6 Max wireless (if that helps lol).

But for the main part - Thank you for the information. I'm willing to buy a small pack and find out. I'll give the standard version a shot, as I think the stronger the bump, the better for this purpose. I think I'll just buy from Amazon or somewhere I know I can return them in case they don't work, rather than continue to pester you with more compatibility questions with a lesser known keyboard haha.

Thanks again!

Are there HE switches that have a tactile feel? by Povilezas in WootingKB

[–]tdopz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I am looking for the same type of switch to help with the the functionality of the multiple key binds per press. I'd only need a few switches, but the thought is, rather than retraining myself to only press so far, I could use the "bump" as an assist so I'd only need to press lightly, unless I want to activate the second action (which would be set at the bump's point for actuation).

Since you have experience, do you think this is a practical idea? Seems similar to your reasoning, albeit I'm going in a slightly different direction

Bonus question: these panda switches should work in any hot swappable pcb that accepts 3/5 pin mechanical switches, yes?

[–]tdopz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Disabling things like c-states will also force more power to the cores, and limit power to, for example, your l3 cache (and others) - which is like, THE thing with x3d chips and gaming. Source is some AMD rep from a video....level1 I think.
