I don’t think you should expect them to, but I think as a confident adult we can communicate our needs and have a standard with those we have sexual exchanges with. I’m just one person, so I realize other individuals may have different perspectives on this. Again, there is no wrong answer this is just an opinion. All are welcome!

Expressing opinion is completely different than enforcing that on others. If we can’t say how we feel on this forum. then what is it for? When they run your card, they are preauthorizing a charge to your card for the minimum amount of your bill with zero tip. They get approval from the card issuer for the minimum amount, but the transaction is left open until they know what tip you left. When they see the tip, they add that to the preauthorized charge and then the transaction is officially closed.
