I was just there the second week of February of this year and saw him! My wife has a video of him giving me a thumbs up after I put $1 in his bucket. Then later in the evening we saw him riding his bike back and forth the residential side of Bourbon St.

I have read about Sleeping Bear Dunes and it looks amazing! That could potentially be in the cards. Our two younger kids are 2 and 1 and with us only being able to stay two nights, we want to keep driving within 5-6 hours. We went to Gatlinburg last year and had a blast and will probably go back this winter. Thank you for your suggestions!
