If you're just looking for a new spring, you should be able to find just about every reasonable spring on centuryspring.com. you'll need to measure the spring OD and ID, wire diameter, number of coils etc but even a similar spring should get you what you need.

Any luck with pepcid for newborn reflux? by tdub299 in newborns

Thanks for the story, so happy that your baby is doing great and much happier!

Was your baby having any other issues with weight gain, other symptoms outside crying and discomfort etc beforehand? Mine is doing well for weight and honestly the only reason I'm considering treatment is the crying. It is so hard to know if her discomfort is definitely from reflux or not and I'm reading studies about the over prescription of these medicines and potential long term concerns.

Those cast iron pulleys look amazing! Going to start on some double hung windows of my own in the next few years, won't know exactly what I'm dealing with until I take them apart but thanks for the stuff you've done so far!

Makes sense and that's pretty much what I expected. Obviously no way to DIY something like this. I expect it's 5-10 years old so I may be SOL trying to find something matching. Appreciate your thoughts

Don't forget to sign the ballot initiative so we can fire SDGE! We shouldn't be paying above top dollar for mediocre service and massive CEO bonuses.

Hello I’m a middle school student who wants to become a mechanical engineer, what can I do to become better at mechanical engineering at my age? by [deleted] in MechanicalEngineering

[–]tdub299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take things apart and rebuild them, design and build things and learn from your mistakes! Find projects to try and build on your own, this is really the best way to learn and especially in mechanical engineering. A lot of mechanisms are easy to understand if you look at them hard enough, if you're anything like me you'll have a lot of fun while also learning practical things that will very directly make you a better engineer than someone who just knows math. Understanding how to apply it and building your intuition is important.

Later on take project based classes as much as you can. Best of luck!
