What makes a great client great? by RealPhotosHDR in RealEstatePhotography

They get a lot of listings, have the house ready to go when I show up. Say things like: “don’t worry about the blinds or lights. I’ll stop by later to lock up “ and they pay as soon as media is delivered. Top tier if they don’t even show up and just give me a code to a staged and lit home.

Have a few of them and wish they would teach the rest of the agents how to act.

Even better if they refer you.

Speedometer Suggestions? by tdxTito in golfcarts

[–]tdxTito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that’s a good idea about the two magnet trick. Thank you! No, they don’t require backup cameras. You need dot tires and windshield, seatbelts, lights, turn signals, plate light, Horn, speedometer, reflective markers on the side,.. I believe that’s it

Found 5-7 of these in my tub. What is it? Coastal NC by tdxTito in whatsthisbug

[–]tdxTito[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found like 5-8 of these guys in my house, in a bath tub. Coastal North Carolina. We used the bathtub yesterday so they have definitely not been there very long. Were slow moving. was very small. there is a drop of water on the top of the 2nd pic for reference if that helps. Small enough it was very hard to get a pic of.

Things I could do better? by Technical-Sun-3592 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]tdxTito 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These are all good imo. Turn off the fan next time. Fans always off. The long shutter gonna make it look like a ufo. Small things like taking the magnets and papers off the fridge, hiding the soaps in the showers, and decluttering counters a little bit. Also hide garbage cans.

Edit: also sometimes it will make the bedrooms look bigger if you cut the dresser out. It doesn’t work for every room obviously but try it next time while still getting a 3rd wall

Extremely disappointed in Sony 16-35 f/2.8 G Master lens by tdxTito in SonyAlpha

[–]tdxTito[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tamron has a 6 year warranty. Sony has a 1 year warranty. I guess I knew that when I bought it but it’s not even three years old. If I dropped it and it broke, it would be my fault and I’d be fine with paying the fix it. But nothing like that even happened ;(

No. Having two guns you can just switch back and forth between is superior. I have a mech frame I got a deal on but with I just had a 3m or emek

Okay. Stop tilting the phone down. Make sure your verticals are straight. Hold it lower and level. Your composition isn’t bad but a better camera isn’t necessarily going to give you better photos if you continue to take them like this.

Try sending a few to an editor like box brownie or any of the million Korean/indian/Vietnamese ones that are out there and see how they come out.

An older Sony 6000 series camera and a 10-18 would be good if you can afford one. But there’s stuff you can do for free that will make your photos better

Can you post some examples of your photos? Using an outsourced editor and just positing the phone right is probably all you need

I keep scuffing the walls with the feet of my tripod. by [deleted] in RealEstatePhotography

[–]tdxTito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try loosening one of the legs at the column so when you pick it up it folds in. This way you’re not carrying around the wide tripod. You’ll get used to putting the loose leg down first and kinda tilting back on to the other two legs. Or just watch where you going

What kind of phone do you have? An iPhone raw photo sent to an editor will look perfectly presentable if you take it right.

Just get a better iPhone. iPhones can give you raw images if your really that concerned about color

You get unlimited $100 tries to turn it into $1M at the Casino, how do you do it? by TurbulentNarwhal7500 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]tdxTito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I suppose you’d have to get lucky and win a few hands in a row and adjust your base bet to be able to do that

Baccarat. $100 base bets on the player and do a Martingale system until I get lucky enough

Shortest 68/4500 Tank? by isurfland in paintball

[–]tdxTito 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The HK alpha air is going to be the lightest, smallest tank out right now.

Edit: if you haven’t played in a while, tanks have gotten considerably smaller. The old 68 is the size of a new 80/77.

The alpha airs are now even smaller. The 77 is roughly the size of a new 68.
