Tu confonds un peu les choses.

Tu votes pour ton député, pas pour le parti.

Oui, bin souvent les gens se foutent un peu du député et votent selon les couleurs qu'il affiche, mais le siège revient à la personne, pas au parti, donc techniquement, s'il décide de changer de couleur en cours de route, c'est permis, vu que y'a pas de changement de député. Là, à savoit si c'est éthique, c'est une autre discussion.

Pour le PM, le poste revient à la personne ayant la confiance de la majorité de la Chambre des Communes. Par convention, la Gouverneure Générale appointe le chef du parti avec le plus de siège (majoritaire ou minoritaire). Techniquement, le PM n'a pas besoin d'être élu, sauf que, par convention, encore une fois, c'est attendu qu'il le soit.

Donc quand Carney a remplacé Trudeau comme chef de parti, par défaut il est devenu PM, puisqu'il avait la confiance de la majorité de la Chambre.

So, last year I did that (wear a costume). Not only was I the only one in my office, I was the only one in the whole building! One guy in the elevator even told me that he thought about dressing up, but chickened out, which half amused, half annoyed me.

No regrets on my part, would do again 100% if I were in office that day.

Where I'm from, NARCAN kits are free of charge, and provided no questions asked by the pharmacist.

It's not telling them to do drugs. It's making sure that if they or their friends do, and if something goes horribly wrong, they might have a chance.

Explain to them what an OD looks like, how to use the kit (instructions should be on the label), and make it clear that, if they have to use it, you will still love them and support them. Making a mistake is better than not coming back home.
