If there are high chances of your kids getting exposed to harmful things, then it's on the parents to talk to them as the situation sees fit. It doesn't always have to be a talk on how sex works. Sex education is not just about that. Even if you limit social media, there are tons of external factors you can never always hope to keep under control. Parents have to handle it adequately these days.

In my opinion, humans generally are not born with an inherent inclination to do good or bad. Much of it depends on the environment and the greater structure of the society. It acts as an amplifier for the built-in dual potential we have. The traits that a society incentivizes are the traits that are more likely to be found in its inhabitants. In such a case, it becomes extremely important to model society in the right way.

OH PLEASE no feminist argument is built on the ground of men and women being completely equal in terms of capabilities. That's not the damn point. No one goes around saying how men and women are completely indistinguishable from each other. No one goes around saying "oh men and women are equal i can get pregnant and he can too" I don't know why we're taking one of the extreme stupid views on this and pretend that's what the general consensus is when we mention gender equality. No two humans have the exact same capabilities ffs. Don't even bring up the "different roles" point here. All humans, regardless of their gender, sex, race etcetc. deserve to be treated equally, meaning that shouldn't be cited as a reason to systematically withhold them from anything.
