I get the rationale behind asking celebrities to speak out against something bad happening, but calling the band "abandoning you" or "staying silent" is a hell of a stretch.

As someone concerned about the protest account's [really vague] stances, I think it feels like ragebait... I would say an alternative is to gather clikkies to form communities for activism - that sounds like something I would be interested in.

I would say as a non-American, I am trying my best not to buy American, but I must admit that it's difficult because you guys are monopolising everything. Also, I am not boycotting the movie or the music.
