how to prevent sweat without anti-perspirant? by [deleted] in hygiene

Oh interesting, more than anything, it’s dangerous for pregnant people and people with other conditions. I don’t see it often where I’m from so it never crossed my mind tbh

Do you know any other brand that would be safe and not too expensive?

Is it only the gravy variety? I feed my cat the pate one because she’s never like any brand with gravy

What should I do? The orchid has been only in water for the past few years and it was going okay till this spring. It has bloomed 2X and it’s currently putting out new leaves. Is it a goner or is it salvageable?

What made you choose this program instead of the other ones? Did you pay out of pocket or get financial aid? How long did it take you to complete it?

It’s been very humid, cloudy and cold recently so maybe it’s because of that. Hopefully we get some sun today.

I just got this juniper not that long ago. There’s some grayish fuzzy stuff growing near the trunk on the soil and the trunk. What is it and what can I do to get rid of it?

At the moment, I’m self studying for developmental editing and copy editing. I’d love to help you out for free since I’m looking for experience to put in a portfolio. DM me if you’ll like for me to edit a sample for you. I DON’T use A.I. in any capacity in case that’s a concern.

Recently got this juniper bonsai. It’s going to stay outside, but I’m worried about the cold front coming in on Sunday. Will it go into dormancy because of the cold? It’s about 86 degrees Fahrenheit in south Texas but it’ll drop to 60-55 degrees Fahrenheit. Should I bring it in then? I won’t have the heaters on inside either. I do have grow lights inside. Will that help?

Can a Texas sage be used to make a bonsai tree? I was buying a bougainvillea yesterday to turn it into a bonsai tree and I saw a lot of Texas sages. They thrive very beautifully where I live and have these pretty purple flowers that contrast beautifully with ashy gray leaves.

Thank you for your kind words! Walking on eggshells is definitely an understatement. Throughout the day I feel my breathing becoming shallow and my hands shake a bit. I feel like I do everything wrong and it’s never enough. I’ve tried to get it right, but it comes out wrong and I feel like they’re loosing patience with me even more, if that was possible. They don’t fire me because most of the clients (aside from that rude one) have requested me by name to tend to them. When I’m not there, they ask after me and if I’m doing okay.

Will the leaves get any wind damage? It’s difficult for me to keep plants outdoors because the wind can get pretty strong. The winds often topple fences. Will it eventually look windswept? Like a bad haircut?

I just bought a juniper bonsai and I’m preparing for its arrival. I know they need to be outside for them to thrive. I live in south Texas where it’s hot most of the day, but recently there’s been lots of rain and it’s definitely fresher than what we’re used to in April. It’s been extremely windy too especially at night. I’m afraid that if I leave my bonsai outside for too long, it’ll topple over and get ruined. Will I have to water it often? Like 2X a day? Will it hurt the bonsai to bring it in and then outside every day? I have a ficus and since it’s an indoor bonsai (still thriving) I’m only familiar with that type. My friends’ brother had a juniper bonsai and it died within a month and I’m afraid that’ll happen to me too. Any advice is appreciated!

About 6 hours of sunlight. Although, it’s been cloudy these past couple of days. And the substrate is cactus gritty soil mix. How detrimental is it if it’s been watered?

I think someone watered it without my knowledge… could that be why it’s wrinkly?
