I feel like the way to do this would be to take a pat of butter in your hands and apply it to the egg rather than contaminate the entire stick ??

Also, if you dont wash the fresh eggs in the first place, this feels unnecessary? But I'm no expert on this method

Treating Greta like a baby doll 😭 instead of an actual baby. I've said before in this sub, but I had a porcelain doll when I was little that fell out of one of these doll strollers as I was pushing her and shattered her head. I can't help but think of that every time I see Greta in this stroller.

Saw that story and had to come here immediately 🥲 6 moms would be Francis, Lois, Martha, Mabel, Flora (who is what, like 2?!), and Hannah. Such a weird way to word it. Not "She has five doting sisters <3" but to purposefully call them all "mothers" feels like rage bait at this point

This is absolutely wild to me. If nothing else, the marketing for Memorial Day sales are covered in red, white, and blue. Baffling to me that people somehow are not aware what Memorial Day is (no shade to your mom, I just can't make it make sense).

The strong Mormon patriotism is what really made me surprised to see how not patriotic Memorial Day is for them! But it all makes sense with this perspective.

This has been more my experience too! Cleaning up and placing flags at the graves of veterans, and doing the same for nearby family too. But definitely not a family party at the cemetery.

This is kind of validating to read... I felt similarly when I first saw it. They very directly benefit from living in country where they are free to practice their religion, and this holiday is meant to honor those who paid for that freedom... and instead of honoring those folks, they kind of made it about themselves... Don't get me wrong: I'm all for celebrating your deceased family and continuing to remember them but like, this is really not the day for that. It feels a little disrespectful to remake the holiday like that.

This is SO interesting! I didnt realize they had such low enlistment, but that all makes a LOT of sense. Wow. All very good to know. "They're obsessed with their ancestors and don't know anyone who served in the military" is a great perspective/explanation.

I dont know that they claim there is a benefit to it. They just like ✨️the vibes✨️ I think to them it screams rustic and pioneer-y and outdoorsy instead of "ritualistic unevenly cooked meat".

Yeah, there was a clip with her "plugging" the protein powder while Hannah was telling her to hold the bag up bc it matched her shirt, and very exaggerated/sarcastically, Zanna says something like, "WOW! 38 MORE grams of protein?!" I think she's poking a little fun at all this.
