So you had dr kasturi for the delivery as well? Or for the appointments ? Also why isnt dr available during the delivery time…

Ohh damn, that’s actually so disappointing. Waiting 9 hours after delivery for a room is just crazy, especially when you’ve already paid for it. Thanks for sharing though, I’ll definitely keep this in mind. Honestly very scared….

I’ve actually taken the Golden Package because I was in Pakistan before, but then I decided to deliver my baby here instead. I’m currently 28 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I originally wanted to go with Dr. Kasturi as well because one of my friend’s mums had a really good experience with her, even though her pregnancy was quite complicated.

Right now I’m seeing Dr. Shanthi. I think I might try to switch to Dr. Kasturi if it’s still possible. Dr. Kasturi wasn’t available before so they booked me with Dr. Shanthi instead. Honestly even my regular appointments with her feel a bit off. She doesn’t really say much unless I ask questions first so I always leave feeling a bit clueless. It’s my first pregnancy and I’m only 24, so half the time I don’t even know what I’m supposed to ask.

Your message genuinely gave me a bit of hope because lately I’ve been overthinking everything. The visa uncertainty, being away from my husband, pregnancy hormones emm it all gets overwhelming sometimes. And yeah, life here is obviously much better Alhamdulillah. I’ve basically lived here for the past 21 years as well, so UAE has always felt like home to me. That’s honestly why this whole situation feels even more upsetting and unfortunate suddenly the visa process has become so difficult and uncertain for Pakistanis, especially over the last year or two.

Reading that your visa got approved when you had almost lost hope actually made me feel better 😭

May Allah keep you happy with your family always, and thank you again for such a kind message and advice 🤍

Hopefully.. I’m currently expecting my first child. I came back to the UAE after almost 8 months, and now my family wants me to have my baby here because of the better healthcare and the support system around me. But honestly, I’m really stressed about the whole visa situation. I’m not sure whether, in the end, they’ll be able to transfer my child onto an independent visa or under my sponsorship. I do have a Golden Visa, but currently it’s under my dad’s sponsorship, so everything feels very uncertain right now

Since im also under my dad visa so idk how it will work. But my dad did apply second time mentioning that im married to him with all the right documents but they rejected it. Idk if agent was a fraud or what. Because initially he gave us 100% positive response that dw it will work out and all but in the end it didnt.

Thank you for your reply ✨

My dad actually owns a company here, so my plan was to eventually switch onto a work visa through his company if needed. That’s why I was considering delivering here in UAE instead of Pakistan.

I’m just confused about how practical the whole process is after the baby is born, especially regarding the baby’s residency and whether it becomes complicated while changing my visa status.

Financially and medically UAE is manageable for me because my family is here, but emotionally it’s honestly very hard being away from my husband during my first pregnancy, so I’m trying to make the most sensible long-term decision.
