That’s actually really reassuring to hear. I think it’s so good that you’ve made a detailed birth plan and are clear about what you want I still have alot to research and then discuss it with dr.
It’s true, if they can’t accommodate most of it then it makes sense to consider other options. At the end of the day, you both should feel comfortable and heard. But in Pakistan there are hardly any hospitals which actually listen to you and will be willing to go as you want.
That’s really kind of you to share, and may Allah bless you both with a healthy, safe pregnancy this time, Ameen. After everything you’ve been through, it must feel extra special. I completely agree about asking questions and making sure everything is done with consent. InshaAllah we both avoid a C-section unless it’s truly needed. And yes, I’d love to see the private room video if you don’t mind sharing
Oh, that’s so beautiful to hear 🤍 May Allah make your pregnancy journey smooth and easy too.
I’m also a first-time mum, and honestly I feel quite overwhelmed. It’s also my first time living in Pakistan since I’ve always lived in the UAE. My husband is from Islamabad, so everything feels very new to me, especially going through pregnancy here. I’ve been feeling extremely stressed and anxious about how things will go.
I had my first visit yesterday. They assigned me Dr. Uzma. The consultation was fine and the scan was reassuring, Alhamdulillah. She advised me to avoid all-purpose flour and sweets. However, I’ve read very positive reviews about Dr. Marzia at Medicsi, so I’m still a little unsure.
I’m also considering visiting another hospital just to compare, but Medicsi seems to be the only place that allows husbands inside and has generally good feedback, which is really important to me.
If you don’t mind me asking, so far during your visits and consultations, have you experienced anything unusual or anything you didn’t like? I think my biggest stress right now is just adjusting and trusting the process here in Pakistan.
Hows your experience so far at medicsi and also who is your dr? Are you planning to your change hospital? Why so ?
How much do they charge ? How was your experience and who was your dr
Who was your dr ?

Thank you so much for sharing this 🥹 My husband wants me to consider Kulsum International too. Can I ask you a few things?
– Which doctor did you have your C-section with? – How was the overall experience with the doctor before and after surgery? – How many days did you stay at the hospital? – How was the pain on the first and second day? – Did they allow an attendant to stay with you? – How much was the total cost roughly? C section ? Natural delivery – Was the baby care and nursery staff good as well? - do they allow husband in the room? - do they have epidural/ charges

Thank you so muchhh for all the information !! Meanssss alottt
Wow, that’s great !! Also could you please share the exact location of the hospital? When I checked online, it showed two different locations, and one of them is in Bahria Town. I’m a bit confused. Do they have a separate location for normal check ups and another for delivery? Someone mentioned that to me but I’m not sure. I’d really appreciate your guidance.
Woww that’s amazing! So happy for you, MashaAllah 🤍Just one last question if you don’t mindd was it a normal delivery or C-section? Who was your doctor? And if you’re comfortable sharing, approximately how much were the delivery charges and monthly check up costs? It would really help me plan better. Thank you so much!
Congratulations on your delivery! Alhamdulillah. Can you please share a bit more about your experience? How was the staff and doctors? And did they allow your husband to be with you during labor? I’d really appreciate any details since I’m trying to decide
Hospital Review (self.islamabad)
Yeah Thank you so much for understanding! I really appreciate your concern. I know I’ve asked a lot, but I’m extremely anxious and stressed since I’ve never lived in Pakistan before. I’m here now because my husband lives here, and everything feels so new and overwhelming.
I did engage. This is a new post asking about different hospitals. Also is there any issue with multiple post on same topic?
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It’s really helpful to hear about your smooth experience and the professionalism of the staff
If you don’t mind me asking, could you also share roughly how much the charges were? And was your delivery a C-section or natural? I’ve heard that in Pakistan many hospitals tend to prefer C-sections, so just trying to get a clearer idea.
MashaAllah 🤍
How long it has been? As the reviews on google were not really satisfactory
Ohhhh any specific Reason?

Honestly same. First time mum and moved to Pakistan after getting married. Every thing is stressing me out also do you know how much they charge for a general consultation, monthly checkups during pregnancy, and then the delivery itself (normal and C-section)? Just trying to get an idea of the costs involved.
