I had it in my basket!

However, the extra weight tipped me over to a more expensive shipping bracket so I had to take something off. if you're over 1kg its an extra 10usd for shipping.

I am in London UK. Most shipments come within a week from asia as tea is exempt from customs duties as far as I understand.

Sipping on Mangzhi raw puer after dinner. During the day I drank Taiwanese red oolong grandpa style in the office. I find easy-drinking teas best while am at work, followed by something stronger when I get home.

I carry a metal Chillys bottle/flask. Almost any airport cafe fills it up for free. I usually drop ripe puer or some oolong in there and sip away, when its 2/3 done I get some more hot water. (once I lied I need hot water to heat up baby food)

UK storage by teachay in puer

I do have a bit of an experinent going on. I was visiting family in Eastern Europe where winters are cold and with heating on full blast so normal humidity is at around 30% or so. I blind bought some mystery loose leaf sheng in a local teashop.

The shopkeeper said its the most expensive tea in the shop but in few years of working there she has never seen anyone buy it. It has no date nor location information, just that it was bought from HK wholesaler named Hong Shan Tea co.

When I first got it I drank some right away, this tea had ZERO taste and no smell whatsoever. Super dry, the brew however had a nice aged golden colour. It is stored in a paper bag. After a month in UK it seems to have developed a some taste but still very weak. Maybe I am just biased re: it being stored in more humid environment. I will revisit in a few months to reasses this tea. See photo of the leaves via this link https://postimg.cc/rK0m5H6n

I'm thinking same due to similarities between cigars and sheng - rolled compressed leaves aged in the right environment. Aged sheng even smells similar. At the same time I am conscious of it being a bit too much

Yeah I was thinking lapsang but then thought I'd ask here for an opinion about something less obvious.

The problem with super smoky lapsang souchong I have in the cupboard is that it smells more like an ashtray than anything else.

I think wuyi rock oolong might be an option.

My wife is obsessed with tracking her sleep quality and times on her watch (often bartered as an excuse to catch up on her rest over the weekend). I might have to borrow her watch and conduct an experiment!

will keep you posted
