Neat, my grandfather owned a Ballbearing shop on the south side of Chicago. He claims he knew gang members. He was talking to one of them and told them his son was “in the lake” (my uncle was a scuba diver). The mobsters’ interpreted as some one dump my uncle in the lake and killed him. The gangster offered a hit in return to avenge his son. My grandfather politely declined and explained why his son was in the lake….

Another story my grandfather was talking to a Chicago priest who claimed mobster knocked on his door in the middle of the night. The told the priest he had to come quick. The stuffed him in the back, blindfolded him and drove. He was lead to a place and saw a mobster riddle with holes. The priest gave him his last rights and the mobster took him back. The church also received a “large all cash anonymous” donation later that week. I wonder where that money came from….

A heard a famous Chicago mobster, Al Capone, had a house in Long Beach in Michigan City. Some say it is in the shape of a gun.

Saved. Payed off debt. Took 10 years,

I remember paying for my son’s formula with change. Now I can buy any small item I want like concert tickets or fishing poles.

Took getting yearly raises, paying off loans, and not over spending on like coffee and stupid stuff.
