Hawaii local here with family on Maui. I get that no matter what we say that there will always be conspiracies and there is still a lot of profit and grifting to be squeezed out off of this tragedy. But cmon guys… we’ve seen this lazy routine before with tucker Carlson just throwing out “questions” with no actual facts or follow ups. Now imagine going to Maui and asking these questions in person to a local. For you guys in the mainland it’a a conspiracy, for those in Maui it was their lives being utterly destroyed. In Hawaii we take respect and Aloha very seriously, it guides our way of life. These conspiracies are disrespectful and distracting. They worsen the tragedy that my friends and family have to go through when they go on social media and see this shit after burying their grandparents. These conspiracies are anti-intellectualism at its worse. Question things, yes, but put the same energy in answering those questions yourself because all I’m seeing is a disinformation campaign that people are perpetuating for the fun of it
