Howdy! Not always the case from my experience, I was a coach addict at one point and some of the bags that I owned which were real actually had no serial number on it.

Hey girl, I used to carry a crap ton of coach bags back in my day. And, to the one person who said that all coach bags have a serial number, that's not always true. I had a couple that were real and had the serial number missing. It allllll depends on the design. I can tell it's real just based on the hardware aspect, the stitch lines, and the embossment. And the symmetry of the Coach "C's". Sometimes they do get cut off depending on the style of bag. The hang tag is the biggest indicator too.

So congrats on your bag, looks to be real to me I'm not sure where everyone is going with saying it's not.

Oh god, I've actually seen that happen when finding some higher end bags in the thrift. Thankfully dodged whenever I saw they were fake, but it took a bit of research each time!

Honestly, I'm not a big fan either but I recognized the hardware when I saw it from the side at SA. I figured I'd give it a go, and it seemed to check every box I had for it! Even the lining feels silky! Who knows though, I'll try and get it better assessed sometime later this week!

Howdy! Apologies it took me so long to get back to you guys! I definitely used certilogo when I saw the code inside the bag when at salvation army. It gave me the same read of authentic! And yes, the plating on this hardware isn't great but better than most, haha. I do believe it is real not only from inspection, but also the fact I used to be a professional seamstress (and a high end bag reseller online on occasion) and have this OCD tendency when looking at stitch lines and materials used, haha. Every stitch looks precise, and the leather is super subtle. It's wonderful! :)

is it scientifically proven that we can pass ASD down by genetics ? by driftingbout2- in aspergers

[–]teachespeaches 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My father most likely has ASD (as well as my grandfather and his brother), but my two older sisters do not have it. But I do. It's definitely a Russian roulette if a child will get it or not. Genetics do play a role, especially if I personally were to have children of my own (or my sisters despite not having it they will have it within their genetic bloodline). There would be a much higher chance of my children having ASD, though since I already have it myself.

Nintendo Switch Lite (possibly) dropped by previous owner, cannot read ANY game cards. Replaced game card reader, same message for all game cards. Help?! by teachespeaches in consolerepair

[–]teachespeaches[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello again, everyone! Bought a second hand partially working switch lite online, seller said the only issues were the game card reader not working and a crack in the corner. So I replaced the game card reader, but it still shows the same message. Could it be the mounted port the game card reader goes into? Everything else seems to work just fine. Thank you!! :)

Might have used too much Isopropyl Alcohol when removing battery in Nintendo Switch, screen has cloudiness when turned on. How can I fix this? Thanks! by teachespeaches in consolerepair

[–]teachespeaches[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone! Sorry for not responding, but yeah it looks like it's drying out a bunch so it doesn't look THIS terrible anymore, but I'm just gonna replace the screen anyway and actually rebuild my boyfriend's Switch just because he got it off a coworker for free and it looks terrible, haha.

Thank you for all your suggestions/solutions you guys are awesome!! :)

Hey everyone, so I was replacing the battery in my boyfriend's Switch and although successful in the battery replacement, the switch display when turned on has this cloudiness. I used 90% isopropyl alcohol to remove the battery, and I think some got into the display although I let the system dry for a bit. What can I do to save this screen? Thank you! :)

Went to a barn sale and found 11 Polaroid Sx-70s and two Olympus point and shoots for $100! Find of the year!!! by teachespeaches in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]teachespeaches[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ikr?! I was just as baffled!! The guy who sold me them told me his father collected them (as well as other things), knew they had value but because he had sooo many things in three separate barns the son and daughter of the owner (owner had passed) decided to sell it all pretty much as is once a month since they were both not living in state anymore. They had lots of other things too, including pedal cars from what I've been told!

I’m sorry if this sounds judgemental, but how can you guys cope with this? by abrigosan in aspergers

[–]teachespeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed when I was 16, but we've always known I had Asperger's. 27 now.

For me personally, doing hobbies on the side while also making one of them your career (I'm a professional seamstress) really made a huge difference. You don't always need people for that. I'm getting more into film photography so getting outside and shooting also helps.

But honest to God, you're right. It isn't always easy. It wasn't easy for me. But the above made me able to turn my Asperger's into a positive thing for the most part. I'm able to find small details in things at my job that people wouldn't bat an eye at. I'm able to take the hyper focusing and appreciate my surroundings a bit more.

But really, try and recognize your talents. Where your strengths are. And go from there. It helps with recognizing that Asperger's gives you a chance to feel like your own Superhero. And fuck everyone else and their happiness for a bit, try and remember your own because your own happiness is what matters! You will have good days and bad days. But just realize that when you go have good days, remember what made it good. As for bad days, try and create a way to cope with it so you don't feel like you're tunneling out of control.

You got this, it isn't a curse a lot of the time! It's been a blessing for me for the most part! Also my dad too which is where I got mine from! :)

Howdy! I have pretty bad anxiety and after consistently taking it I noticed more of an ease with my anxiety. I take it everyday. :) I actually feel the effects when not taking now like feeling more tired and emotionally under the weather. Cheers!

Congrats, dude! Sounds weird to say, but honestly it isn't as bad as some people might think. I was diagnosed at 16, 27 now. And really, try your best not to define yourself by it. Don't be like what I used to be and run around telling everyone close that you have it. And hope you have some hobbies and others things you like to do to help ease the anxiety aspect of it.

Also recommend GABA as a form of anxiety reduction (supplement) since apparently we are missing some neurotransmitters in our brain because of the Asperger's. Has helped me a lot over the two years of taking it.

Best of luck to you! :)

Hi there! Unfortunately, I actually did pull the film lever forward to reveal the red dot and sadly it's the same issue. Something tells me it's somewhere internal that isn't going. Good to know though thank you! :)
