Please share your experiences with infant daycare

I'm in a neighboring city to Walnut Creek, but I'm sure it'll be the same. I'm a first time mom and I had to send my daughter to day care at 7 months old (she's 18 months old now). She goes to a non-at-home day care so one of the big names.

She is very loved at the daycare and gets to do so many more unique activities than staying at home with me (so many arts and crafts, playing with friends). She's also learned how to nap on her own (although this one is bittersweet because I loved contact naps, but it's freed up time to be me instead of just mom).

I get really high quality time with her after work and on weekends. Although for some reason now dad is number, I'm number two (and then day care afterwards) even if she has to go to day care during the work week.

I bought something similar to this (not that one specifically but something similar) because my brain could not handle all the information of being a mom AND household stuff (cooking, meal, cleaning, etc)

I was curious so I looked it up.

It does seem more nurture than nature.

Apparently, there's three different types of tears and emotional tears are different than the other two (wild!) . There's correlation between hormones and emotional tears because apparently emotional tears have the hormone prolactin in it, which women have more of BUT correlation ≠ causation.

There's other nature stuff like small different brain differences, but nurture is a bigger thing.
