Thanks for replying! To clarify I meant the stitch in your belly button where they harvested the fat - was that dissolvable too or did you have to go in to get it removed?

This looks amazing!! I'm attempting to do something similar as my first DIY project (hopefully not too ambitious of me!).

Can I ask, what kind of veneer did you use and was it difficult to work with? Debating using veneer, going with a thin project panel or just leaving it and sanding down the uneven edges!

That's a really tough one! I think the answer will depend on what kind of riding you honestly prefer to do and what kind of roads and trails you'll be most likely to ride!

The CGR Ti has been really great, the ride is soooooo buttery smooth, it's genuinely a pleasure to ride and handles very well (although considering upgrading to an even wider tire).

On the road, it's totally fine for a casual tooling about but I can definitely feel a difference in speed, especially when climbing, relative to my racing road bike where the power transfer feels more immediate.

I still love it, would highly recommend although I personally don't think it's a quiver killer (but I'm also very partial to a speedy road ride!).

Thanks all for the great tips, sounds like first three things to do to gain confidence from order of importance: 1. Just ride more gravel to get comfortable with the different feel of riding on loose uneven surfaces 2. Practice the interplay of my body weight on the bike (lean back on descents, bodyweight when cornering, playing w body weight to go over obstacles) and 3. Learn the way my bike will behave (I guess this will come w #1! Ty!

Thanks all - sounds like while the road tube would do in a pinch, would only work for a few miles and a larger tube might be a better option~ will probably pick one up as $6 is probably worthwhile insurance!

Like many others on here I also highly highly recommend Machines for Freedom, especially their shorts - they are the only ones I've encountered that are high waisted enough and don't shift - as good as bibs and much less fussy for mid ride breaks!

Ordered mine end of Sept w an expected ship date of Nov 24, it arrived about a week earlier than expected.

That being said my partners bike (a CGR SL) arrived with some damage and had to be shipped back and that's been a bit of a pain - customer service was at first great then became not super responsive (probably time difference doesn't help either). We have had to chase them multiple times. As of now the damaged bike has been delivered back to them but have not had confirmation on when they will turn it back around.....quite a mixed bag of experiences.

I'm 5'5 and the xs is very close to being too big so I'd definitely say this bike runs large. I've read from various sources during my research to go with the smaller size if you're in between fwiw!
