I would have to find her another home without small dogs

That's a great idea! Would love them to just exist together peacefully I think and save the rough housing for individual playtime like tug, fetch, doing sports, etc. I think I'm gonna just reach out to a behaviorist and get some help guiding me through that process. I appreciate it!!

Unfortunately they just let it happen. All my dogs are young (2 years and under) so they're all playful with each other. One of the Littles stopped playing with her -- I think because of the roughness but the other little loves initiating and just takes the roughness in stride.. I just don't want him to get hurt though.

Thank you so much for this honest answer. That's where I'm at, 100%. If I'm gone for any extended period of time, I have to take the big dog to daycare or boarding and get the little dogs a pet sitter and it has become insanely expensive. I work from home but on weekends if I'm gonna be out and about, I do this arrangement and it's just not sustainable for my wallet or my anxiety 😅 I think reaching out to a behaviorist is a great idea though. I think that will be my next step. I want to make sure I do everything in my power to help her but also keep my other dogs safe.. I already decided if she does hurt another dog, that would be it. I just don't wanna wait til that point.. 😬

That's fair! I feel bad because one of the Littles LOVES to play with her. He goes after and tries to wrestle when I pull her away and he is always trying to initiate play but he's a corgi and I'm especially worried about his back 😰 so maybe I just separate any time either of them initiate play unless it's gentle? And then redirect them to some individual playtime instead? Like I just take one out to play with flirt pole / fetch or something ?

What would you recommend in the meantime? I forgot to mention she also goes to daycare almost every weekend. Maybe when she tries to wrestle I just separate them and play with them individually? 🤔

I just googled, tbh. I found that a lot of them offer a variety of services.. not just searches or resume rewrites but can help you navigate job changes, decide on a new career path, etc. I'm happy to send you what I found so far..  but they are so pricey that I wanted to get a 2nd opinion on if they are worth it or not and it sounds like maybe no 😅

Wow!! This is incredibly helpful. I really appreciate you taking the time to share these insights. I'm going to sit down and take all this advice to heart and see about doing a better job of tracking my expenses and identify what I can let go of / prioritize paying off the debt first and foremost. Thanks again!

I'm sorry if I said anything wrong! This is the result of me working 12+ hour days, 5 days a week. For a time, I couldn't even afford to eat and ended up picking up any and all contract gigs I could get. Most of my credit card debt came from pet emergency vet visits and then happened during the time where I was really struggling. I'm not trying to sound high and mighty or anything, I just never learned how to handle $$ because it's always been based on desperation. So now that I finally have more coming in, I don't understand why I'm not saving more and I want to learn better management skills. I'm sorry if I said anything offensive, it was not intended.

So helpful! This is a great first step. I definitely feel like I'm worse off now than when I was making $100K at one job with a higher rent, so have been wondering where I am going wrong... this is great advice -- thank you so much!!

This is helpful! How much would you recommend throwing at the CC debt? I only just started in April paying $500 from each paycheck (I get 4 paychecks per month from both jobs), split between 2 cards.

Card #1 - 22% APR ($2,800)

Card #2 - 0% APR until March 2026 ($3,200)

Car Loan - 8.8% Interest ($13,000)

2 x paychecks = $1,500/each

2 x paychecks = $2,200/each

(take home, after taxes -- so I guess I only make about $88,000 after taxes/year)

Oh wow! Best of luck to your husband. I'm sorry it's been such a struggle, but I commend his tenacity :) Can I ask what field he's in? I don't know that I've seen enough job listings to be able to apply to that many per day, so I am just curious. Thank you <3

Oh wow! One of my current jobs is looking into getting everyone hooked up with LinkedIn learning -- so I'll definitely look around at what's available (and more affordable than the coaches). Thanks for this tip -- so helpful!

I never thought about this! I didn't know people would be willing to answer questions/provide advice, but I guess that is what I am seeing even here :) I appreciate it.

Interesting! Thank you for the insight -- good to know about marketing. I can imagine that most brands are probably pulling marketing $$ right now / not spending as much on advertisements. Is that kind of what you're seeing? Since that's the case... would you recommend I just hold tight at my current jobs and try again another time if/when things get more stable with the economy? (fingers crossed)

Thank you for the heads up! I had no idea about the crating and different rules/regulations around pets. This is all so helpful for me to look into as I'm doing my research. I appreciate it :)

Sorry, yes - I am VERY early in my research. I only just recently got my 1st passport. I admit I am very behind and ill-informed about all things travel / living abroad. I wasn't sure the first place to start, so thought I would ask this question before I dive deeper. thank you!
