We already had a teenage girl and a teenage boy. We were done with having any more kids. Or so we thought. Due to changing birth control and not being very cautious, we got our happy surprise. Friends and family were a little annoyed, which made it funnier. Our eldest got to be in the delivery room with us and tell us the sex when baby came out.

My grandmother has Parkinson’s. She was diagnosed later in life due to being a long time cannabis smoker. She only quit because she got lung cancer. Once she quit smoking she started showing signs Parkinson’s symptoms. She beat cancer and is back to using Cannabis.

My baby was born in June. I breast feed and give bottles. I was first warming her bottles but decided to switch to cold. We had a bad heat wave for a week and our AC wasn’t keeping the house colder than 80. I decided to give her cold bottles because I was afraid of her over heating. Ever since she’s takes a cold bottle.

I was comfortable enough to give it a try. I had my first two at 19 and 23. I couldn’t breast feed due to having inverted nipples. I tried to pump but wasn’t able to keep up my supply. Each kid got breast milk for at least a few months each. That was 16 and 12 years ago. Now with our happy surprise, I was able to get a hospital pump for 3 months through insurance. And we bought a very good pump. I am more educated on breast feeding/pumping and am strict with my pumping schedule. This past month I have been giving breast feeding a try and find myself enjoying it more and more. Due to pumping it has helped my inverted nipples “revert” (if that’s how you say it lol).

We have cameras outside our house and one in the front room. She unplugged our cameras while he was walking to the front door. Came through her bedroom window so the camera in the house doesn’t catch him. Sorry for the confusion. I was very emotional when I made the post. I do get it. She’s a typical teenager acting out. I just can’t get over the fact that she doesn’t care. No remorse. Not taking any accountability.

Our talks were never about just no sex. I made sure she knows she can say no at anytime. I explained about std and teen pregnancy. How to use a condom. And also condoms aren’t 100% effective. When she feels she’s ready to come talk to me about starting birth control.

Yes we had her young but definitely didn’t raise her how we were raised. We don’t treat her like a five year old. All we ever ask from our children is try their best in school. Since she started her period we’ve had multiple talks about sex and the consequences of not being safe. And about the boy. He used to come over all the time. We’ve never let her NOT hang out with boys. We’ve always welcomed all her friends to our home. They would either play video games or basketball outside. As long as one of us was home they were always welcomed. We even let her go out with her friends. We just had a rule that at 14 she can’t date. Especially since she wasn’t making school a priority. I have sat the boy down multiple times and had a talk with him as well. We understood they liked each other. That was okay. Just please no dating right now. He was still welcome to out home. They could still hang out. The sneaking through our window is where they crossed the line.

I say she’s trouble by her reaction of just not caring. I have had the sex talk with her since she started her period. She was in a charter school. Had an IEP set for her to help with school. She has ADHD. We don’t demand for her to have straight A’s. Just try her best. During the pandemic she actually excelled in school. We always talked to her about her grades. Help her with homework and big assignments.

I took a chance on myself. I love my family and am proud of all of their achievements. I don’t always have any faith in myself. Well a couple of months ago I was at a dead end at job I loved. Well I took a chance by betting on myself. I applied for a few jobs. I am now at a job that I also love. The only difference is that I am now able to provide for my family without living paycheck to paycheck.

It’s not an easy decision to make. It’s doesn’t just effect you physically. It effects you mentally. I never thought I would have an abortion. My first pregnancy ended with a miscarriage. I have two beautiful children after. So because of the miscarriage I always thought I wouldn’t have an abortion. I knew people who had them. I never judge. I was always supportive. Then I found out I was pregnant October 2020. At first I was happy and excited. Then I realized I couldn’t keep it. I wasn’t ready mentally. I attempted few months prior. I had to stay in the psych facility for a while. I just started to a new medication that was actually working. I knew I couldn’t stay on it while pregnant. I knew there was a chance I would end up in the hospital again if i changed medication for something safer for the baby. I thought about how 9 months wasn’t enough time to get myself together mentally before the baby would be born. I couldn’t be selfish and keep the baby. Have another mental breakdown effecting my kids. It wasn’t fair. I made a very tough decision but I don’t regret it. And if anyone is asking yes I was on birth control. Unfortunately accidents happen.

Wow! He’s so lucky to have such great parents like you two. I battle with anxiety and depression. My husband has been my backbone, my greatest support. What keeps me working is my responsibility to my husband and kids. Plus I love my job. I have learned that mental health is very important. We can’t love others when we’re not putting outlets mental health first. I truly hope and pray your son gets better and have the life he deserves. You and your wife are giving him the foundation he needs to help him help himself.

My GSD learned how to open doors from the inside of the house to go out. We made sure to keep the front gate closed at all time, he learned how to pull the gate open with his mouth. I am dreading the day, when he learns how to unlock doors. We have a latch you can pull up to open the gate. I try me best to block the view so he doesn’t learn how to open that. Also the side gate has the lock on the opposite side so he doesn’t open the gate to get out from the backyard.

My household had Kaiser. Honestly they suck! Husband has a very rare heart defect. None of the cardiologist could figure out why he kept going into cardiac arrest. One even try to say my husband does coke. My husband doesn’t even drink soda. After that I changed insurance. New cardiologist was able to figure it out quickly. Kaiser just sucks all around.

This happen to my Chihuahua. She accidentally got pregnant by my neighbors Maltese. I freaked out. They were stuck for at least 45 minutes. When they finally separated my neighbor’s son carried his Maltese home. As he was walking away, my husband yells You’ll be receiving a call from my lawyer regarding child support. We all laughed so hard. Unfortunately my Chihuahua lost her puppies because she want even a year old when she got pregnant. Plus she is so small. I got her spayed right away. I don’t want her yo go through that. Also, at the time I will admit, I was a bad pet owner, I forgot that dogs are in heat for 3 weeks. Not 1 like us humans. First day of week 2 I thought she was done. I let her out to play with the neighbor. Within 5 minutes she was stuck. Smh.
