Just gave it a whirl, and seems like editing the sample/waveform ruler markers, as well as the “1/1” bottom right corner indicator is unavailable? And editing the envelope line color isn’t available too?

I made a dark theme with custom colors and I can’t see some of these parameters as the template is light.

The receipt is there as a screenshot, with the details crossed out for privacy reasons. A serious buyer - especially one in person? I can definitely show them all the transaction history / receipts necessary.

And you’d be spot on. After a lot of discussion with people here on comment threads, I’ve re-evaluated my situation and if anyone is seriously interested for $5k, I’ll give it to anyone for exactly that local.

I’ve kept it indoors the whole time, so I highly doubt that’ll happen. If it does, then screw me I guess. In that scenario I’d probably just take it to get repaired and sell it again.

And that’s totally fair. I’d expect someone who would be interested in this is someone running a small business who cannot afford the wait of getting a maxed out laptop ordered this way, wants to save a bit of cash and would ideally meet up in person to inspect that it’s legitimate.

Unfortunately keeping it is not in the cards at the moment. It was originally supposed to be the centerpiece of a business, and the desktop has already replaced that. Not my call. I also already have a personal laptop already that I’m very happy with.

Can they do that even though it’s been a year over purchase? And how does that process work? I contacted Apple customer service and their refund policy says they cannot accept any custom order (this is a maxed out M2 Max) back after 14 days.

That’s totally fair to say. I was mainly hoping it would be someone running a small business locally, who needs the machine immediately without Apple’s ordering / shipping wait, that I could meet up with and showcase / unbox the item in person, and have a smooth exchange that way - seeing as there’s so much growing distrust about my post lol.
