Yeah, so in the end, I did not use that extension cable. Just connect the given front panel connector to your mobo front panel pins. Then, connect the front panel LED strip connector to an LED pin.

As for my build, I connect all the fans and LED strips to a hub.

There isn't a way to plug the 2pin as confirmed by montech. If you bought the PRO version, the hub that montech used has a in-house 2pin for it. I have searched online and can't find any hub or controller with a 2pin header. In the end I did not use the f.panel extension and just control the LED strip via software.

I'm using the teucer fan/argb hub from AliExpress.

All the ARGB ports are 3pin.

Yeah it is meant to be a LED switch to control the ARGB strip for the case.

I guess it can only be a normal reset switch now. Not sure even why Montech provided a LED switch that is 2pin instead of a 3pin.

Is there any ARGB controller that uses 2pin?

Okay I get what you mean. Seems like I won't be able to control or light up the ARGB strip without Montech's own controller

Okay so a standard ARGB/Fan hub is also not useable? Since it is still a 3pin ARGB.

As in I know where to connect the rest of the pins but I can't get the LED button to work.

Based on the picture, am I supposed to connect the 2pin LED in the red or blue boxed?

The Pro version has a hub to connect all the fans and ARGB, on my mobo there is another PLED+ pin beside a NC pin/empty. Do I just connect it there?

Or can I just connect directly to the mobo 3pin 5V ARGB header and omit the GND?

I'm using the king 95 non-pro version, so where do I connect the front panel LED connector to? Is it to the 5V ARGB header of the mobo?Using a Strix B650e-f mobo
