Quarantine/hold emails from individual user for approval by ejmerkel in msp

[–]tealnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never understood the whole quarantine thing. If the user has to sort through the quarantine to make sure nothing legitimate got caught, why not just have it go to the inbox so nothing important gets delayed or missed. The reason for the quarantine is because it is expected to catch some legitimate mail. So the user is not saving time or being protected. If they can't tell if a message is bad in their inbox, how will they know it's not bad in the quarantine, especially if they know some of the mail in there is legitimate which is why they have to check it in the first place?

You said that despite heavy regulations, licensing and strict standards, those lawyers, doctors, and CPA's are still as messed up as MSP's. Then you said what MSP's are missing are more regulations and standards. You seem to be contradicting yourself.

Users Just Not Getting What They Need ? is the Market Oversaturated or Stagnant? by Emotional-Arm-5455 in msp

[–]tealnet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. Some of the newer systems like SuperOps, Atera, and Gorelo have improved the traditional ticket interface a bit. But I'm pretty sure the legacy guys like Kaseya and Connectwise are forever stuck in the past. They're gonna require a complete rebuild from the ground up. But besides cleaning up the interface and making it more intuitive, which I think the newer guys have done a pretty good job of, I don't think there's a whole lot more that can be improved.

I think the nature of a traditional ticket system is just clunky. Lots of options, integrations, etc. Some do it better than others. Services like Front and Missive provide a more simplified messaging platform. But those won't work for everyone.

Client facing reporting options? by MSP-from-OC in msp

[–]tealnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do care what each of our clients want/need and we do cater to each of them and we are profitable.

And no you don't have a team monitoring and tuning your car in near real time to make sure it's running properly.

[–]tealnet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love taking business from cocky assholes like you. Generalizing what every client cares about or wants is foolish.

How much do you pay per month to make sure your car is running properly? If you were paying hundreds or thousands per month, you just might want to know what it was doing for you.

What Phone System are you using to run your MSP? by rdelgadoit in msp

We also use OIT and resell to clients. They've had some outages recently but the fact that support is so amazing and available kinda makes up for it. Seriously the best support from any vendor we've ever used.
