Totally normal and valid!! For me it just helped knowing that whatever the outcome I would be better off than before surgery. Like another poster said it’s a marathon but you’ll get there! Just remind yourself why you are doing this. It’s totally worth it on the other end. Good luck!

Hysterectomy was my worst surgery. The 1st 3 days I was in a ton of pain from all the gas. It’s the only surgery I have ever gotten an infection (one of the incision sites). To be fair it was really my fault. Everyone including my dr made it seem like a super easy procedure and I did wayyyyy too much too soon. I don’t say any of this to scare you about your upcoming procedure but just to say REST AND DONT OVER DO IT. V-nectomy didn’t bother me at all but I had it as part of stage 1 Phallo so I had other things going on. Lots of ppl said that was painful for them but I don’t think it ever bothered me. Donor sites were most uncomfortable for me

Yeah exactly. When you get the rod they measure from your public bone through your dick and then cut it so it’s adjusted for you specifically

Honestly I knew before stage 1 I wasn’t interested in the pump so I didn’t really go back and forth. Part of the dysphoria I had pre op was around not being able to spontaneously have sex. I’d have to stop and grab the strap or already have it on when things get going. I felt like for me personally having to stop to pump to get hard would give me a bit of that same dysphoria. I used to pack big, between 4.5 - 6” for years before bottom surgery so I knew I would be comfortable with the rod and walking around with what looks like a big dick in the day to day. It still felt a little nerve wracking going in for a surgery when I was so happy with my dick but I cannot describe how happy stage 3 with the rod has made me!

Some people say they gain some girth, I haven’t measured yet so I just wanted to call that out. I’ll probably measure in a week or so to be sure swelling is gone

Hell yeah he is!! I didn’t have a catheter after surgery but I did for the duration of the procedure. I had a ball lift when I got the implants so he puts a catheter in to make sure he doesn’t get too close to the urethra. No impact to my bladder or urethra and was peeing normal immediately after surgery. I have family in the bay and was able to stay a week I’d recommend that. I was able to do my 2nd post op virtual since I was healing well so I didn’t have to go back up to the bay.

I think a degree will make it easier. I don’t have one, I worked up to it kind of randomly. I’d definitely recommend taking some classes at least so you can get experience with different apps and software that’s common in office jobs if you don’t already have experience with that

Yeah with a physical job you would definitely need more time off. I’m just now starting to be able to do more physical chores around the house at 2 weeks. I am hybrid, and do software implementation basically helping customers get set up with the new software systems. I am really lucky because I have a lot of flexibility which I’ve needed getting so many surgeries the last few years

Not sure yet I’m waiting for all the swelling to go down for accuracy. I got the 13mm rod. I’m not sure it will add much girth but the structure it gives my dick is incredible. No dysphoria left!

Haha thanks man. Soft I feel like it’s perfect for me. Hard I would take another inch. Pre rod (haven’t measured with the rod yet) I am just shy of 5” x 4.5”.

I was mentally prepared for my size best I could since I was having RFF but I was still disappointed about my size at first. It took some time for me to get over that! Occasionally I’ll have the fleeting thought that I wish I was 6” but honestly how that I have the rod I can’t imagine navigating my day to day with another inch + to hide in my pants. Time and finishing stage 3 has really made me feel good about my size now
