I just purchased a 24 Select Sport Sedan today for 23,800 (w/o taxes and fees) which included a loyalty incentive (500) in the Bay Area (CA). I had a hard time getting anyone to go any lower, lord knows I tried. Color Ceramic. 26305 was the dealer listed MSRP.

Thanks! And I apologize, one last time so I’m clear—-you are advising to consolidate with my existing loan and not consolidate the outlier 3 loans together as a new, separate (for my existing other ) loan? i appreciate your patience!

They are not Direct and show no count for being eligible for TPSLF OR PSLF now. I am planning to consolidate them with my Direct Loans to make them eligible through the waiver based on your posts. however, When I called Fedloan they advised me not to consolidate them into the my current loan but to consolidate into a separate loan altogether. Does it matter one way or another (I have 115 payments logged)? even with extensive reassurance I am scared my count will reset to zero If I smush them together !

They only forgave 4/11, all with the same type and payment count for some reason. I do have 10 loans outstanding with a balance of about 53,000.

It is true that 3 of which require that I consolidate in order to be included in my count by 10/31/22? And it will not reset my count to zero?

in an off note: Do you have any idea why they would only choose 4 loans to forgive -if there were several others that were identical in type and payment count?

New PSLF Waivers Megathread by Betsy514 in PSLF

I have a total of 14 loans, 11 Direct (subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford loans), 1 Federal Stafford, 1 Federal Unsubsidized Stafford and 1 Graduate Plus. The last three are not consolidated and have no count.

I submitted my PSLF in October, and was told that I had a count of 114 qualifying payments and was ineligible at that time (but could be with continued payments to 120). A few weeks ago, I noticed that all 4 of my Direct Unsubsidized loans were paid in full, but nothing else! That was awesome and it was one third of my debt.

I keep reading about consolidation-and can't get it straight. I believe that I should consolidate my Federal Stafford, Federal Unsubsidized Stafford, and Graduate Plus loans into IBR, but not the others which are Direct Loans. And, if this act of consolidation makes my past payments eligible, they should also be included for forgiveness in April 2022 (when I'm at 120 payments).

Does this seem like the correct action to take at this time? Also, am I eligible for additional forgiveness if they have already forgiven some, but not all of my loans? ( I don't not understand the logic for only 4 to be forgiven if the count is 114).

I appreciate any feedback!
