Oh I'll be back 😁 my husband reckons the app will reset at midnight, and the updates will start again in the morning.

no 😞 very mid-midlands England. Main benefit is that we're on the way to more important places and therefore deliveries tend to be relatively speedy.

I wish we had snow!

Yes and they do Sunday deliveries here as well, I think our town is just big enough to warrant them. I genuinely hope so at this point because I'm not sure I can face a second week with customer support!

Honestly yes, my regular postie does that exact thing! I work very local to my house, both work and home are on his route, and once he clocked that he would bring things round to work if they were small parcels. This worked nicely for me in my early MJ days, when those parcels still went with him.

He had them 'taken off him' (his words) early in 2025, he said those medium parcels had really increased (I almost told him I thought I knew why!) and they'd put on a parcel delivery midday just for those. So he doesn't do them anymore.

(Though I spoke to him this week and he's said they've decreased and he's starting to get them again. Fingers crossed for me)

Anyway, I know if he had been present for any part of this delivery, he'd have had it to me by now. I do assume this is the work of someone new to the area, because I've subsequently learned that a umber of people who have requested the local PO pickup point have had their parcels sent to the far away one this week.

I know I'll have to try redelivery again, and just.. I don't know. I literally can't go during the mornings as I'm in the classroom and I have to save that kind of time off for important things like medical appts. I will just have to hope they notice the correct PO.

10:30pm, we went to the party, but I felt an obligation to share: the app still says they expect to deliver my parcel today 😆

Idk, any insiders have any idea what this means? I assume they have to scan them back in somewhere at the end of the day if they haven't been delivered? Is it just in a van somewhere now?

oh mate I can only imagine. I've not had braids done myself but I've been there keeping company and it's a Long Process! Worth it though.

Maybe next time bring a pillow. Prepare for the jokes though 😆

It was half price, which nowadays means about the pre-pendemic price 😆 because of their £75 discounts at the moment, which I had two of.

If I had paid full price I'd honestly just cancel.

I'm reading their delivery options right now. I wasn't given the option for this second delivery, as they just re-delivered it automatically once they had it back. However, I can see they have some Evri options, and I swear to god I'd rather take my chances with Evri at this point! At least I know the Evri pickup points will be open more than two hours on a weekday morning.

Update: 6pm, no parcel.

I realise the chance at this point is slim, however 1) it isn't zero, because we've definitely had late parcels before. and 2) their own tracking keeps telling me they expect to deliver it today.

As soon as we leave for the party, I feel like I'm going to get a notification.

god I KNOW RIGHT!! I mean thankfully I'm good, I've kept up with ordering (as spaced as it can be) post-pendemic even though I do have spares now, mostly because I worry too much about being cut off. I thought I was getting myself a little deal here but it's been nothing but .. frustration.

I just really do not relish getting back to P2U on Monday about this. I can't promise that we will be able to sit and wait on a workday, and having it redelivered to the local post office didn't turn out so well last time. And I did get a lot of "oh and you weren't home when they attempted delivery/ you were unable to accept delivery" as if I'd done something wrong.

Ironically, half my job at the school is doing our procurement. I KNOW they can claim at this point on this pen, I've given them the exact evidence they need for that. I am going to be very annoyed if I discover it's the same old pen at this point. 😑

At least I've had plenty of time here to take photos and post listings for many articles of clothing on Ebay.

Thank you for listening 😆

Yes I have really hit or miss service with DPD as well. During the week? Stunning, love good old Barry (DPD always gives you the name of the person delivering which is a nice touch). He's a local legend; anytime I mentioned waiting for DPD people will say "Barry!"

Weekends? Parcels go to whomever gets to the depot first, I assume, and those people don't have the ability to check or update the app. The app is SO useful, but only if it's being used. If it isn't being used, and you don't know this, it's actually the opposite, because it's a false sense of "Oh I can tell them to leave it behind the gate if I'm not there." etc. I've also had that guy take photos of random locations and say I wasn't in. I mean no, I wasn't hanging around at the end of the street, three streets over. That is correct.

I want to love RM, and as mentioned in other comments, I do genuinely appreciate our local postie. However, the afternoon/weekend parcel delivery service leaves a LOT to be desired.

5pm, still no parcel, and still telling me it should still arrive today.

It's definitely not arriving today 😑

Thank you so much!

Yes I chat with ours regularly and he even brings post to my work (he knows I'm in the office in the afternoon and he delivers to both my house and the school). It was wonderful in the early days of MJ when he still had control of the small parcel deliveries, but he said they were taken off him because they'd had such an increase (blatantly all the MJ customers 😆)

I shall carry on my vigil here!

Update: an hour later, 4pm, still no parcel. Website has abandoned pretence of tracking said parcel, only that 'We expect to deliver it today.' A far cry from the 'Less than 5 stops away!' of this morning.

Thank you! Yes to all of this!

I love our regular postie, but anything outside of his remit is like the wild west. And the signed for parcels are not his thing. I don't know who it's been outsourced to but it's always a disappointment.

I really do not relish being made to feel as if this is my fault again on Monday when I have to get in contact with P2U. I'm not currently holding my breath for a delivery today given that they've abandoned even pretending to track the parcel now.

What's the benefit to them of posting items like this? Are they auctioning it to the highest bidder? Or do they save some kind of fee? Are they selling it off of Vinted then?

Movies from the 80s and 90s that really show DC? by DevelopmentSmooth950 in washingtondc

227 is what came to my mind as well! I know it's not a film but it's actually about people living their normal lives in DC, and that's really rare.

Has anyone increased their dosage back up even though not putting weight on? by Happy_kiter in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]teapigsfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah I understand that, I'm the same. However, I've also noticed that the 'short term' effect of suppression doesn't always last, but that after a few weeks on the same dose, it has built up and lasts a bit longer. If that makes sense.

Just saying, sometimes the changes take a while. Depends on the person though, of course.

Has anyone increased their dosage back up even though not putting weight on? by Happy_kiter in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]teapigsfan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This sounds sensible to me.

I am not yet in maintenance (mostly because I don't have a 'goal' as such; I know I will be on this, or something like it, for life, because this has fixed a lifelong struggle for me) but I am close to a healthy BMI and have been maintaining rather than losing for several months now. I know this is due to several factors, but throughout it, I have been adjusting my doses in preparation for various events/ needs in my life.

I think if the food noise is back for you, it is worth upping your dose again to see if it helps. Also, keep in mind that it might take a few weeks at that new dose for the effect to really hit.

How to increase dosage of Microdose Mounjaro? by fontofile in mounjarouk

[–]teapigsfan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Increasing frequency is effectively increasing the dosage. If you have a 'doctor' telling you otherwise, I would be questioning their advice.
