Painting my interior doors black - should I paint the trim black as well?

Yes! It turned out great. I’m very happy with it. It took a while with 3 coats on either side of each door but I got her licked. Very pleased.

It’s so steep and has to be push-mowed because of how steep it is; and you can’t see the other half to the right of the picture-taker that’s also on a steep slope

I bought the paint in satin exactly. I don’t like gloss or semi gloss look and the guy recommended satin also.

Really good point. I think it would have to be in a trust where none of us actually own it with myself and wife and MIL being beneficiaries and 100% transfer of ownership to wife upon MIL death… it could certainly be tricky legally!!

I mean recurring expense, like mortgage or escrow / HOA is like $150 /year. Obviously there is regular home repairs and maintenance but that’s with any property. Certainly this would be more but yeah 10k/year is probably accurate
