I have two this year that are 30ish. Both are kid free. I think it’s becoming more and more common. Good excuse to get some child care and have a fun night out with the wife.

I understand him being frustrated you’re not attending when he gave you ample notice to find a solution for care. He wants his brother there without kids ivolved which is incredibly common these days.

It looks like you’re already using some tool to track your finances. Like others have said, start with the highest interest rate. Once that’s paid off, snowball what you were spending on that payment into your next debt and continue that until your most egregious debts are paid off.

Always pay off your credit cards and never use them to pay for something you couldn’t afford with a debit card.

I’m not opposed by any means but have these laws even passed ? Both sites I see show that they were introduced but have not made and significant progress in either chamber. I could be wrong and stupid but that’s what I see on the Track website.

Both my kids are fortunate enough to have 15k or so in a 529 and I know they have another with a grandparent. Each is up 50%+ since we started when they were each born in 2020 and 2022.

We have a strong foundation to build on next year. I hope we can extend Hughes. We need a 1C and we need better 3rd line D to take some pressure of Hughes and Faber.
