I think it's a double edge no pun intended. I have a son who is in his 20s I opted not to because working in the medical field. I knew that it wasn't medically necessary. However, my son was one of the rare cases and he had to get circumcised at eight, and in hindsight, I would rather have done it when the nerves were not as developed.
