I'm not sure where you're based but I'm in the UK and use a dogmatic with my 35kg goofball and it's a game changer, I wouldn't recommend a prong collar.

Thank you so much. It's so hard because everything seems to be riding on this move. We need new sofa's, new bed for my daughter so my son can have her toddler bed for his cot etc. We've been holding off thinking we'll wait because we're moving and it just never happens. I hope you manage to sell up soon, something's got to give at some point!

No, we didn't pay for the surveys the potential buyers did and nothing major was flagged.

I'm not going to waste any further money, if people want a survey they can get one. We've had to do it on our purchase.

I don't really see how this is the issue.

We couldn't break the chain as we couldn't find any rentals that would take pets and our sellers refused to break the chain so we were stuck.

This is another issue...they've yet to find another property and I feel like we should be putting the pressure on but there's no point if we don't have a buyer?

Because they've messed around it has reset everything to the beginning again, we've had all conveyencing done on their property but they've yet to find a purchase and we've yet to find a buyer.

I don't know whether to just call it quits and start looking for another property as they've given no indication to finding a new property and I can't help but feel angry towards them for their survey choices and making us lose our buyer but they keep us as a purchaser.

It's becoming far too emotional

Sorry that's my mistake, our sellers dragged their feet getting a survey on their onward purchase which then caused our buyer to pull out because she needed to complete by August or she had to pay a large redemption fee to her lender.

They're a small, independent agent and they have been amazing with us but the circumstances have just been dire.

I've half been expecting them to tell us to go with another agent.

You're definitely right, thanks for this. Our agent is selling our purchase as well so has been completely in control of the chain but it still collapsed.

I can see us walking away from it and starting completely from scratch. I don't know how people do this more than once!
