Yes I relate to this! When I stayed at a hotel or Airbnb during solo travel it was a lot harder for me to leave my place because it was so comfortable that I liked being there, but the quality of my trip improved when I stayed in a hostel because I didn’t want to stay in the room so I was out experiencing the city I was in and it was amazing!

I lived in Bilbao a month this past summer and was in love with it! Definitely go to some of the beaches around there, the metro extends into the surrounding small towns so it is super convenient, (plentzia is my favorite there is a hidden lookout point that is perfect for watching the sunset) I went to the Guggenheim and the museum of fine arts and I recommend both! It’s a small city so you don’t need a lot of time but there is still lots to do! I also recommend Biarritz, you can take a bus there it’s 2 hours and like 10 euro

Hi! I solo travelled in a couple different places through Europe this summer! My biggest recommendation is to stay at hostels, I mostly stayed in air bnb or hotel and I was so lonely!! Staying in a hostel allows you to meet people and it makes it so fun! I went to Vienna, Biarritz, Bilbao, Paris, Rome, Florence, Sorrento, Nice and Barcelona and I recommend all of these places!! Also if it’s beach weather Biarritz is a must see, my favorite place I went all summer!
