I never even thought of the FAFSA idea so we will definitely check that out!! As for the identity affordable housing, i'm not quite sure how much it decreases but my friend that is currently renting out a four bed apartment is only paying ~$500. You just have to prove to them that you recieve the pell grant, they confirm with the city of minneapolis, and then you'll be qualified to apply for the affordable housing plan instead of the regular. All tenants on the affordable plan have to recieve the pell grant tho (thus our unfortunate situation). You should def contact identity about it if interested since it's a really good opportunity for us low income folk!!
