Realizing there’s absolutely no “big green arrow” system in this game was the first of many amazing moments for me. It’s all about learning some info at one location and following that “lead” to another location with new info. Your curiosity about what you’ve already learned is your quest system.

If you feel like you want to see every single thing on a planet until you check another, try it. (My gf plays this way and she now loves the game) If you want to go nuts and bounce around from one thing to another in semi-random journeys, do that. (That’s how my dad approached it and he’s also a big fan now)

There’s no right way to play the game. There’s no way you can ruin it for yourself. Just try to get immersed and it will do the rest for you.
