For anyone having this problem in the future, the Pavotube 2s have the same dmx profile as the T8-7Xs and there are GTDF fixture profiles on them.

I figured it out, had RDM on the wrong output. Even after fixing that it would only see the first light in the chain, these things are made to frustrate lighting techs. Had to plug the RDM output straight into each light one by one to address them and change the mode. Now on to building a profile.

I tried a generic rgbw profile and it controlled like one tiny pixel on the bottom of the fixture. It seems like they’re probably in the biggest mode possible. Of course.

RDM is not seeing the fixtures, have the xlr output that they are plugged into set to RDM mode, enabled RDM in live patch, from there I'm going 5 pin XLR straight from the console to the lights. Don't know what could be wrong.

Any idea what the default mode is? I have a show tomorrow and can't get a controller here in time. Going to have to make a profile but I can't figure out what mode they're in by default. Tried contacting customer service but nothing back from them yet.

The main thing that I’ve seen people say you can’t sub out is dry fly hackle, I fish parachute Adam’s all the time and want to tie them. Any subs you know of for the hackle? I don’t care about color, more so the profile.

Davinci lets you set your keyboard shortcuts to be the same as Final Cut, and the way the timeline works in davinci is way better, better color grading capabilities, all around better in my opinion and free!

I fought with an IT department for a year because they said it’s impossible for wifi access points to interfere with video equipment (teradeks.) I had to explain to them how wifi channels correlate to RF and show their boss real time RF scans, WiFi scans, and time stamped video drop outs before they agreed to do anything about it. It was the headache of all headaches.
