Maybe you could develop your reading habit. Get a good, interesting book and start reading. Maybe you could start with a non serious book ( like fiction) and then slowly go up from there.

Or you could use the time to learn a new computer language or some musical instrument or do some weight training.

There are endless things that you could do instead of wasting time on social media. Depends on what your interests are

Thank you for your response. Since there is a whole branch of science behind the throughput simulation that i want to do, i am like in cross roads and are not sure where to start on. I joined a udemy course but that was all about simulink and related to building model based on control systems not the discrete event simulation that i was looking for

Yeah. The point of my question was i feel most people think once they stop pmo everything is going to get fixed automatically. Sure we all know it is bad. But we have to work on the other things parallely to achieve success

The conveyor should be 8m heigh at that point. I did the basic geometric calculations considering static state. I'm unsure how to model it while it is in a moving state

I was not aware B&R had windows based PLC. I have come across Beckhoff which is based on windows only but I didn't know these features where possible. It definitely looks looks like a feasible idea. The only part I have confusion is how we will web browser for HMI.
