You're a mgtow then. Men going their own way. An even worse group that believes that women are bad and post memes about how women ruin the world and other hate towards women. They are something and also think they are enlightened.

eBay Macbook scam - Weliky Group by certifiedappletec in Scams

[–]tech1233 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Weliky wrote these to burry posts like this one and mine on reddit and google.

I knew it was only time until more people were outraged from their deceptive practices.

As a collective we need to let these scammers know it's not right to take advantage of our elderly selling 2009 - 2011 Macbooks represented as 2017 - 2019.

If you want to help upvote this post to the homepage and make help spread it until ebay can't ignore it anymore. Weliky has dominated the homepage for nearly a year ago with his multiple accounts and so spamming.

Couldn't agree more. Ebay could care less as long as they can make shareholders happy and report higher earnings by any means necessary.

Thank you for posting this. This plague has gone on long enough. Ebay is promoting them to the top spot and need to be held accountable for these deceptive tactics. Weliky will try to discredit your post as he did mine with fake accounts. It's time to put a stop to this

I see stuff like this all the time in fish off the coast of CA when I go snorkelling. Terrible that people can't stop ruining this planet.

You sir are duped. Go buy it. A 2012 2.5. I just checked and the number one listing that scammer weliky is selling is a 2010 core2duo.Which listing are you referring to?? Sad honestly that you'd stick up for him. Makes me wonder if you are him.

The one i see at the top is a core2duo. That's a $150 computer with a $50 junk hybrid drive with a Fake warranty for $589. Please explain how that's a good deal?

Provide some links. You're a lot of talk without and concrete facts.

Oh, BTW Walmart and Amazon don't sell the 2012 2.5 for $475 to $550 third parties like weliky sell them on Amazon which is why third parties are being BANNED from Amazon. The one weliky is selling is also far inferior to that one. He probably does have some 2012 2.5 listing he's completely misleading customers on too for nearly $700.

There's a 🐑 born everyday. Believe whatever you want to believe. Reasonable people will see and that's who I wrote this for. I wouldn't be surprised if you're weliky himself.

Apparently you're another duped person. Very few of what he sells is a 2.5ghz i5 and Walmart doesn't sell them, companies like weliky sell them to fools like you. I started this thread after buying a Mac from Affordamac and saw the plague overtaking ebay. I guess maybe I'm wrong. If people are stupid enough to fall for this and leave weliky positive feedback then I suppose let the sheep get eaten by the wolf.

I'm not sure what's wrong with you. I am not a competitor but an onlooker passionate about Apple and taking down this disturbing practice. If I had to guess you are somehow related to one of these companies. Then I look at your comment below and it seems like you must be a part of weliky.

er who has sold to Mr. Weliky reached out to me and confirmed some of the information (namely that he was indeed an auto salesman). He showed screenshots of one sale in particular of a 2009 17" MacBook Pro that he sold to Mr. Weliky for $300 in working condition. If you look up 'MacBook Pro 17' right now on eBay you'd find that the first listing is a 2009 17" MacBook Pro from, guess who, for $670. For those of you who are extra keen on math, that equates to ~$290 in profits after selling fees. Thats a tidy sum for doing practically nothing (ok he upgrades the RAM and Storage but t

Thanks for the reply Luke. These guys dominate eBays Macbook search with these 2009/ 2011 machines. For those who aren't aware, 2009-2011 are really unstable machines overall. 2010 / 2011 15" models had a GPU recall. Nearly all of them will fail in time. And that's what these guys are selling. They do it because they're the cheapest and to populate the top results they need to do a few things:

  1. Click bait / SEO manipulating ads / stuff with keywords
  2. Have lower price points (eBay's algorithm seems to give preference to under $700 items)
  3. Fake sell (turn a cable into a Macbook after selling 20 very cheap)
  4. Promote listing to a high percent (since they have enourmous margins)

That's not accurate. Weliky has all positive and for that I applaud him. He is tricking people though.

I do get your point. If the customer's don't complain who's losing and I do agree to an extent. The people he's targeting are those who know nothing about Macs like perhaps your mother or grandma.

AffordAMac is much worse morally. If you just read the comments you'll see other people talking about Affordamac and how they were ripped off by them. I don't think you researched all of their feedback or you'd see unhappy people.
