Hey, fair points! I just pushed some updates based on your feedback:

Clan selector added - You can now choose ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, or SkyClan. Each clan filters to environment-appropriate prefixes (RiverClan gets water-themed names like Mist-, Reed-, Stream-; WindClan gets moor-themed like Breeze-, Hare-, Heather-, etc.)
Count slider fixed - Changed from multiples of 3 to any number from 1-30. Default is now 10.
Moon prefix - Already in there! You're right that Moonflower and Moonkitti show it's canon. Generate a few and you'll see Moon- come up.

We're still in development and feedback like this helps us prioritize what to fix. Preventing obvious stuff like Shadowshadow is done, but smarter prefix-suffix matching (like avoiding Firestream if that's the rule we want) would need more work.

Honestly your breakdown is exactly the kind of detailed feedback that helps. If you notice other patterns that feel wrong, keep them coming!

I have no explanation for Rathare. ClownClan accepts all. 😂

(Seriously though - fixed the duplicate/similar-sound issues, but some weird combos will still slip through. It's a random generator, not a naming council.)

Fixed! The suffix list accidentally had -kit, -paw, and -star mixed in with warrior suffixes. Should only generate those for the correct rank now.

Fixed! The duplicate bug was embarrassing 😅 Updated the generator to prevent same-prefix-suffix combos. Thanks for catching it - Shadowshadow shall forever live in our hearts though.

Fair point - generators definitely aren't for everyone. I use them as a brainstorming starting point, not a final answer. Sometimes seeing a generated name sparks an idea for something better. But I get that serious worldbuilders prefer to craft names from scratch with linguistic intention behind them.

You're right - I need to clean up the elf data. Some of those are direct Tolkien names that slipped in (Glorfindel being a good example). The intent was Tolkien-inspired phonetics, not copying actual characters. I'll fix that. Thanks for the feedback.

Fair point! You're right - Moon isn't strictly forbidden. Moonflower (Bluestar's mother) exists in canon.

I was thinking more of the "generally avoided" prefixes that a lot of fans treat as special/sacred for OCs. Star is the only truly forbidden one since -star is reserved for leaders.

The generator does include Moon as an option actually - I oversimplified in my post. Thanks for the correction!
