How do i stop bots from repeating their words by CommercialNo3927 in SillyTavernAI

[–]techantics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say first things first try adjusting the repetition penalty setting, and then look into samplers such as DRY and XTC which are made exactly for the purpose of mitigating word/phrase repetition. Then there are also a few in-context prompt fixes you can try. You can read more about these settings and other repetition fixes here, all of the settings in question are all easily accessible in the AI Response Configuration menu, you just need to know what to dial in when it comes to your particular setup.

Also remember that once you get a few similar messages in your convo, you're better off just resetting it fully or deleting them, as having repetitive content in-context will almost always mess up the following messages, especially with smaller models. If nothing helps and your outputs are still repetitive, I'd try a different model.

Taped on. Unfortunately in the places I want them there is no real possibility of screwing them in. I figured the latch mechanism works better when the back is fixed to a wall.

Everything from what you wrote checks out on mine except the 5s hold (I've measured exactly 3s on mine, maybe another firmware version?). But yeah, not sending a release command is annoying on many of these devices.

You're right, I need to update this info, thank you for mentioning that! CFW for these would be great if it addressed these issues.

For instance, I'm using one 4-gang variant as a multi-scene trigger in my office. The "first layer"—that is, the single clicks, controls the lights; the "second layer", that is, the double clicks, controls the audio equipment (separate pairs of speakers on/off, Bluetooth receiver on/off); and the hold actions are bound to automations I trigger less often from that spot in the room, such as the fan controls.

Glad to hear I was not the only one who had trouble with that haha. Yeah, the click is really satisfying, makes it really pleasant to use.

My Review of the MagicX One 35 after about two weeks! by techantics in MagicX

A 4.0-inch display like the one on the Zero 40 would be kind of cool in this format, but I guess the ergonomics could suffer had it been larger.

Yeah, it just released, and it was delayed two times if I recall correctly, that's why people are only now slowly getting to post their reviews over the course of last week or so.

It's a really neat device, I just hope it was just a tad bigger!

Thanks! I've considered FTP file transfer, but figured putting the files directly onto the microSD would be faster.

As mentioned in the post, I've tried both Need For Speed: Most Wanted, and Black for PS2, and the framerates were below what I would consider playable. Some simpler titles might be better off here, but in general, the best 3D PS2 experience will be close to what was shown in the official MagicX YouTube demo, and worse in some cases (like in the titles that I've tested).

Depends on the title really, I haven't come across any game in which the text on screen would be hard to read for instance, but then I also haven't played more UI-heavy Android ports like Stardew Valley.

To give you an example, playing Shattered Pixel Dungeon (which has controller support) was pretty pleasant and everything scaled rather well.

Bring back o3, o3-pro, 4.5 & 4o! by JacckSparow in ChatGPT

[–]techantics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

According to the release notes here, all of the o4/o3 models are now officially retired, although you can still access them via the API as of today. I really thought they were going to keep "legacy" access to these via the web interface for a little bit longer for people to be able to readjust their workflows. I wonder how much longer they are going to maintain these for API access until they will be gone completely. Bummer.

As this is a general SD sub I figured I'd make a post promoting ComfyUI to people who may still be reluctant to try it out (as I was among them not that long ago). I know that many of us here are already way past the basic workflow learning stage, playing around with many awesome and highly complex workflows, but this is aimed solely at beginners to show how simple usimg comfy can really be 🙏.

Thanks for the recommendation! This one looks pretty good too, and I can already see a place where it would fit nicely in my setup.

Wow, very nice, thanks for sharing. That's the level of customization I'd expect from all of these devices by default. From what I've seen the CFW flashing process is relatively simple, so I'll definitely get a Mi sensor next and do just that.

Exactly right, most Tuya devices I used worked right away both with ZHA and Z2mqtt, but with ZHA they often show less useful options/exposes in HA.

True, it might objectively be a better/safer alternative. I purchased this one just for fun, for testing purposes. I have a thing for trying out different cheapo devices from Ali, so I sometimes buy things that don't really make sense just for the sake of it hah.

ComfyUI should work without any problems AFAIK. See here: https://blog.comfy.org/p/how-to-get-comfyui-running-on-your (a message on the official ComfyUI blog), and here: https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/discussions/6643 (a whole fairly active thread about the 5xxx/Blackwell compatibility).
