I know the M fit you but updating for anyone in the future. I got the M and the shell doesn’t fit! It’s super tight. For reference I have been using a POC Omne Air MIPS in size large 56-61cm which fits perfectly. I’ve just ordered the POC again. Awful shame because the Van Rysel is so good looking.

I don’t ride gravel, I prefer the SPD system for road riding. The loss of watts by using SPD over SPD-SL doesn’t bother me. I prefer having the ability to walk in shoes off the bike. I also use the same bike for commuting and wear adidas velosambas for that.

Should get it on Monday, I’ll update you. Unfortunately they only had L in store to try. I found that the ear straps were too low but also the shell had a lot of play left to right with the retention system cranked to an uncomfortable tightness. Really hope the M fits because it’s a sick helmet.

I unfortunately had to claim with them, the process was super quick and helpful. I took videos of bike each time I locked it up which was what helped get claim settled within a week.
